Vittorio Minato

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vittorio; husband, father, nonno and biz-nonno. His passing was a shock to all of us as he was so vigorous and full of life. His heart was huge, but in the end, it couldn't keep up.

Family was everything to Vittorio, the love he showed when holding his grandchildren and great grandchildren was immeasurable. He won't get to hold his soon to arrive great granddaughter and great grandson, but we know he will be there to watch over them.

He was a very well respected, kind and generous gentleman with a wide circle of friends who were proud to call him their true friend or their brother.

He was an active member of St. Helen's Parish, Trevisani nel Mondo and the Alpini of Vancouver.

He looked forward to his weekly card games with his friends, as well as enjoying hours in the garden.

He leaves behind to mourn, his wife Gemma of 64 years, his children: Carla (Steve), Linda (Gordie), Franco (Gundi) and Nadia (Todd), his grandchildren: Jacqui (Eric), Michael (Elza), Jennifer (Emerson), Nicholas, Jessica (Brian), Kevin (Michelle), Brody (Vanessa), Andrew, Jordan and his great grandchildren Bristol and Brooks.

May we all find solace in the many great memories we hold dear. Vittorio will be greatly missed.

It's not goodbye, it's until we meet again.
