Quiet, friendly and with a polite demeanor, Wally was an instructor at the Far East Flying Training School in Hong Kong before emigrating with his family to Vancouver in 1965, where he eventually worked for CP Air/Canadian Airlines. Outside of work, Wally enjoyed tinkering with cars, target shooting, gardening, and watching sports. He attended Chinese Mission Church and then Gospel Church in Christ. He is survived by his wife Frances; sons Kelvin, Tim (Eva), Rick (Kazue), and Will (Rina); and eight loving grandchildren. A Viewing will be held between 6-8pm on Friday, November 6, followed by a Memorial Service at 1:30pm on Saturday, November 7 at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby.
