We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Wan Ben Kong. Surrounded by his family, he left us peacefully on November 2 at the age of 93 years after a very short illness and hospitalization. We are very grateful for the compassionate care he received by Dr. Thompson and the staff at Burnaby Hospital. Ben is survived by his devoted wife, Lai Sim, their children Sharon (Paul), Gail (Andy), Albert (Tiffany) and Wendy, his grandchildren Cameron (Blaire), Devon, Ethan, Jason (Christa), Caitlin, Aaron and his great-grandchildren Klay, Emery, Enzo and Emilia. We will miss him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 12 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at Oceanview Funeral Chapel.
