Dear mama Milk,
I was shocked and upset to learn that you are no longer with us.
I remember those days whenever we ran into each other. You would always greet me with the warmest smile to brighten my day. "Come, come, have some milk", you said. And time would fly by between our laughters. Such good times. It still seemed like I just ran into you again yesterday.
It will take us some time to grief, to come in terms with your departure. The thought of you living eternally in a better place now brings comfort to Cathy and me, and hopefully to your family and friends as well.
I will miss you, mama Milk. Thank you for thinking of me. May you rest in peace.

To my dearest father,
You and mom brought me to this beautiful world on 27th July, 1964. Since then you never failed to be the BEST father figure in my heart and in our family. You worked hard making sure everyone in the family would not suffer from starvation. You gave us shelter to protect us from the storms and rain. You sent us to schools allowing us to understand our wonderful world. You played with us making sure we were the happiest kids on earth. You took us to travel around the world allowing us to see this beautiful world. You guided me when I was lost. You taught me right from wrong. You made jokes when I was sad. You cheered me up when I was down. You worried about me when I was sick. You supported me when I made the decisions. You never walked away just when I needed you the most. You had given us the best of the best and also your unlimited unconditional love. With all the love you nourished us, you made me a better person. A person who is responsible, generous, enthusiastic, caring, brave, supportive, cheerful, positive and last but not the least humorous.
I thank you for being there when I had my 50th birthday. I was so lucky to have you by my side for half a century. Half a century sounds like a very long time but it is never enough! Although I wanted you to be with us forever but I couldn't be selfish not letting you go. It breaks my heart when I see you suffered from pain. I felt so helpless when you were sick in bed. I hate myself for not being able to share your illness. I fell apart the day you left us on the 31st August, 2014. I felt so empty and lost. I cried, cried and cried. Yes, my dearest father had left us. At least, I know you are in a better place and you don't have to suffer. The door of the heaven has opened for you. Your soul and spirit would be in my heart and our family forever. You would not be forgotten but missed deeply. I always tell others I wouldn't be here if there was no you! I truly thank you for bringing me to this world, raising me to become a responsible person. I love you so very much and I miss you deeply.
