Yong Ki Kim

Yong Ki will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Marian, Janie and Sandra and by his son-in-laws John, Paul and Sean. He will also be fondly remembered by his 5 grandchildren, Lauren, Jessica, Christopher, Thomas and Kira. Yong Ki was predeceased by his loving wife of 61 years, Un Hi Kim.

Yong Ki lived to serve his Christian faith through his work with his Church and through various Christian Missionary Organizations such as Operation Mobilization and Lighthouse Harbour Ministries. As a Master Mariner, Yong Ki enjoyed traveling along the beautiful BC Coast and would thank God always for the beauty of his creation. He will be dearly missed by his church community and his family. May he rest in peace in his eternal home.

고인 김용기 장로는1930년7월19일 아버지 김 영희 와 어머니 오 수덕 사이에2남2녀중 셋째로 태어났습니다.
1958년에 아내 유 은희와 결혼하여 슬하에 3 녀, 미현, 주현 그리고 소현이를 두셨고 사위로는,John, Paul, 그리고 Sean 과 다섯손주, Lauren, Jessica, Christopher, Thomas, 그리고 Kira 를 두셨습니다. 61년을 함께한 사랑하는 아내 유 은희 권사님을 2019년11월30먼저 보내고 고인 도 그뒤를 따라 평생을 주님을 섬기시다 2021년 2월8일 오후 5시에 하늘 나라로 가셨습니다.


고인 김용기 장로는 1971년에 카나다로 이민와서, 아시안으로서는 처음 B.C 에서 선장 자격증을 취득하고, 은퇴하실 때까지 아름다운 B.C 해변을 왕래 하시면서, 틈틈이 신실한 기독교인으로서 속해있는 교회는 물론 여러 단체를 통해 물심양면으로 돕는 이세상의 소금과 빛과 같은 존재로 항상 온화함과 겸손함으로 우리모두의 본이 되시고 우리 곁을 떠나셨습니다.
이제 하늘나라에서 편히 쉬세요.
