Annette Snider

Miss. Annette Snider passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 88. She was born on February 12, 1937, in Erick, Oklahoma where she grew up on a farm near Sweetwater with her parents Horace Robert Snider and Mary Etta (Peterson) Snider and brother Marion Loren Snider.

Annette was a proud graduate of Oklahoma State University and spent most of her career in Whitewright as a Home Economics teacher where she was active in her school and all activities. Annette was a longtime and faithful member of the 1st Baptist Church in Whitewright and after her retirement enjoyed volunteer work with the Chamber of Commerce and being with everyone in her close knit neighborhood. Annette loved gardening, all things Peanuts, and Oklahoma State University. Recently, she lived in Burnet near her niece and nephews Edward Loren Snider, Marian Sue Brunson, and Robert Alan Snider.

A graveside service was held at Fairview Cemetery in Clarksville where she was buried next to her brother Marion Loren "M.L." Snider.

Memorial contributions in memory of Annette may be made to the First Baptist Church in Whitewright or to your favorite charity or organization.
