

Donal was still self employed and owned and operated a drywall company, Hillco Drywall, Inc., serviced the hill country and surrounding areas since December 1996. His motto has always been, “WE SHEETROCK ANYTHING FROM THE OUTHOUSE TO THE WHITE HOUSE.” As his company grew it became a family run business that included his sons Gary and Jason Hill, daughter Kimberly Hutchinson and grandson Jacob Hill.
His favorite hobbies included hunting and fishing. Donal hunted doves in Sweetwater yearly, Quails in Hamlin, Deer in Colorado and of course Geese and Ducks in Argentina. He also hunted Coyotes, Foxes, Bobcats and Prairie Dogs in New Mexico. His fishing trips took him to Lake Falcon, Lake Tawakoni, Galveston Bay, Rockport, Arkansas for Rainbow Trout and even Alaska for Halibut and Salmon just to name a few. Later in life he even took up helicopter hunting and killing wild hogs that were causing severe property damage.
Donal always has had a close relationship with God and was saved at the age of 18 and baptized at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Anson, Texas, which his grandfather founded. The church remains active today bearing a red neon sign atop of the church stating Jesus Saves.
He later in life became an author and published several books in English and Spanish titled: Gospel Poems by Donal Hill.
His goal was to reach a million souls for God’s Eternal Kingdom.
Donal also enjoyed sports. When he was a senior playing basketball, his team from Hawley, Texas made it to the State Finals in Austin, Texas. The whole team peroxided their hair orange! He also loved football, baseball and watched games every chance he got. His home television was always on hunting shows, fishing shows or the sports channels with an occasional rerun of Gunsmoke or The Rifleman!
Donal is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Hutchison and husband Chevin, six grandchildren Alexia Ann Hll, Brynna Jean Hutchison, Kylar Reese Hutchison, Stephani Lavinia Hill Staber, Jacob Earl Hill and Jessica Maclayne Hunter, three great grandchildren which were his pride and joy, Solomon Duran Hill, Julez Munoz and Jaime Munoz III. Donal also had to great, great grandsons, Tyler Randal Hill and Johnathan Ray Staber. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who he loved very much. Donal also kept a close relationship with his ex-mother-in-law, Shirley Fisher and ex-brother-in-law Douglas Howard and family. He is also survived by two ex-wives, Phyllis Hinton, 19 years of marriage and Sharon Chambers, 8 years of marriage.
Donal had numerous friends, business associates and office staff including Denise Bell, Belinda Beltran and Jose Herrera that he greatly enjoyed working with. He never really met a stranger! He could start up a conversation with anyone at any time and discuss anything!
He is preceded in death by his parents Franklin and Annie Hill, brothers Joseph Franklin Hill, John Clinton Hill, Sydney Clyde Hill, sisters Una Maurine Hill Gernertt, Ila Mae Hill McCright and Ava Grace Hill Weaver. He was blessed to have four sons and lost them all to soon, Gary Don Hill, John Gregory Hill, Steven Randal Hill and Bryan Jason Hill. He also lost his grandson Steven Earl Hill.
