Jacob was a very kind hearted young man who never met a stranger. At a young age Jacob was hit by a pick up truck resulting in brain injuries. This caused him to fight for his life, which he did. Growing up Jacob had goals and dreams. One of his dreams was to graduate from high school.
When Jacob moved and started at BHS he had it rough but with the guidance of two very special teachers, Karen Cozby and Karen Melton, along with the BHS staff and the love and support of his family Jacob achieved his goal.
We would always tell Jacob to never give up and to follow his goals and dreams and to never let anyone tell him he couldn’t do it. With determination he did just that. Jacob went to South Dakota to help his family on a ranch and with the guidance and love of Sheri and Tom Tumlinson our son accomplished his biggest dream of getting his drivers license.
Jacob loved music, especially George Strait. He also loved camping and swimming, baseball, football, lifting weights and running. Most of all Jake the Snake loved playing with his brothers and sisters.
A visitation for family and friends was held Thursday evening March 31 from 6 to 8 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. The funeral for Jake was held Friday morning at 10 at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Interment followed at the Liberty Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be offered to www.clementswilcoxburnet.com
