JAMES WARREN COOPER, 69, passed away 4/16/17. A beloved partner, father, and friend, Jim is survived by his partner, Mary Jane Shanes; his sisters Betty (Dusty) Rhodes and Marilyn (Ed) Long; his daughters, Kara Cooper and Elizabeth Cooper; and his brother firefighters. He is preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Helen Cooper, and sister, Rebecca Cooper. Jim graduated from Oklahoma State University and was a 30 year employee of the Social Security Administration. He found his true calling as "Cooper" when he became a firefighter for East Lake Buchanan VFD. He was captain of station 3 and the training officer. Cooper was always on call and ready to help.
