Mary Louise Griffin Owen, 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, went to be with our Lord October 11, 2011. She was a lifelong Lutheran and current member of Grace Lutheran Church in Arlington Texas. After working for the Federal Government for 35 years, she and her husband enjoyed cruising the Caribbean. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Frank; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Owen and Chris King, daughter Stefanie and husband Paul Jacob; grandsons, Keith and Todd Owen and granddaughter Ashlee Jacob, as well as four great grandchildren. Mary was preceded by her great grandson, Ryan Owen. A graveside service for Mary will be held at the Mt. Zion Cemetery near Bertram.
In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to send a donation to Alzheimer’s Association or to a charity of their choice. She was loved by everyone that knew her and she will be truly missed by all. We love you Mom!
