Millard M. Shell

Millard M. Shell, age 73, passed away on December 4, 2015. He was born in Briggs, Texas on November 18, 1942 the son of Joe T. Shell and Avis Burch Shell. Millard graduated from Burnet High School in 1961. He served in the marines for 14 years and was a Vietnam Vet. Attended A&M University for 2 years. He then later married Trudy Whitaker on December 26, 1978. He was self employed in the construction business for 21 years, then later starting working at Home Depot for 16 ½ years. Then later retired.

Millard is survived by his son Derek Shell of Burnet, Texas, sister Iva Dell Becker and husband Bill of Minnesota, brother Paul and wife Peggy Shell of Burnet, Texas, sister-in-law Marsha Whitaker-Hay and husband Rick of Keller, Texas, 4 nephews and 2 nieces. He is preceded in death by his wife Trudy Shell and parents and one sister Jo Nell Stockman and one brother Ben Shell.

Visitation is Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, Texas. Graveside services will be on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mahomet Cemetery in Bertram, Texas.
