Paul graduated from Marble Falls High School in 1984 and went on to attend the University of Texas at Austin, where he proudly became a lifelong Texas Longhorn fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Paula Cook, and his daughter, Ashli Cook. He is also survived by his father, Elba Cook; his sisters, Cindy Reeves and Ginger St. Francis; and his brother, Stephen Cook, along with many beloved uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Lila Darlene Cook, and his brother, Donnie Cook.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at Three Oaks Hospice for the compassion and care they provided during Paul’s final days.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 E Polk St, Burnet, TX 78611. Interment will be private.
