Paul Lawson

Clyde Paul Lawson, age 83, of Burnet, Texas passed away on Feb. 11, 2011. He was born in Blanco, County on December 5, 1927 the son of Oscar Irl and Girthie Fannie Combs Lawson.

Paul is survived by his wife of 62 years Bille Fillpot Lawson of Burnet, Texas; three daughters Vicki Wright and husband Jackie Bob of Marble Falls, Texas, Jan Shelton of Burnet, Texas, Staci Price and husband Fred of Little River, Texas; brother Clay Lawson of Copperas Cove, Texas, two sisters Bernell Stanford and husband R.G. of Victoria, Texas, Ruby Glover and husband Don of Burnet, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. Eight grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, one grand daughter-in-law. Preceded in death by his parents and one daughter Debra Paulette Lawson and son-in-law Larry Shelton, and three brothers J.D., Noel and Ned Lawson.

Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, Texas 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 14, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Clements –Wilcox Chapel in Burnet, Texas. Pallbearers will be the grandsons Cody Shelton, Jeffrey Shelton, Lonnie Jo Wright, Tanner Wright, Kenny Fillpot and Brian Henry. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Calhoun, Nelson Brock, Don Glover, R. G. Stanford, Malcolm Guess, Bub Lastly, Thomas Hullum. Officiating will be Holton George. Interment will follow at Dobyville Cemetery.
