Celia was immensely proud of her seven grandchildren Elizabeth (Jeff) Wolniakowski, Dr. Ruth (Mike) Bruce, Daniel (Jessica) Kempke, Sarah (Phillip) Szepietowski, Benjamin (Anna) Kempke, Stephen Pierce, Cynthia (Derek) Overstreet; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Celia was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Charlotte Gorski; loving and loyal husband of over 60 years, Stanley Kempke Sr.; brother, Arthur Gorski; nephew, Glenn Gorski; and many dear friends.
Celia was born and raised in Cicero, IL. She helped her husband run their television repair business for over 50 years in Harvey, IL. She loved to travel, and she made many lasting memories camping with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and collecting postcards.
A private family memorial service will be held for Mrs. Kempke at a future date.
