19 February, 19403 July, 2021

David Victor Wozniak Sr., 2/19/40 - 7/3/21, 81 years of age, passed away peacefully in his home in Middleville, Ml.

David is survived by his children Sue (Marv) VanKampen, Chris (Kim) Wozniak, Sandy (Steve) Bultema, David Jr. (Amy) Wozniak, Sharon (Ken) Rearick, Crystal (Billy) Wynne, and Cassandra Wozniak. David is also survived by his brother, Ted Wozniak and sister, Gloria Snyder.

David was the proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He had a tender heart and would help anyone who needed it. For years, many looked up to him for trucking wisdom. He loved his trucks - talking trucks but mostly driving trucks. David devoted his life to the transportation industry for over 60 years. He loved the open road and running his 18-wheeler across the country. During his years of transportation, he tried all aspects of the trucking industry - working for other trucking companies, and running his own company, DV Wozniak Trucking, until his passing.

"And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit." Ephesians 1:13 NIV

Family will have a private interment at Rosedale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of David to Kindred Hospice, 625 Kenmoor Ave. SE, Suite 115, Grand Rapids, Ml 49546. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at

My memories of Mr. Wozniak were from 50+ years ago. I remember him coming home from a long trip and all of the kids getting so excited. He was always nice to the neighborhood kids and had a great laugh. I am thinking of all of you.

Dad was the strongest and most gentle person at the same time. I remember him always helping his family when they needed it. We talked two weeks ago and he sounded good. I will always remember his voice, especially his laugh.
