

Bill was happiest in his home filled with family. Bill's love for farming stayed with him his entire life while also having interest in the auto industry, owning his own dealership in Hastings.
Bill is survived by his wife, Penny Seif (Vander Molen), with whom he celebrated 46 years together on October 23; children Stephanie and Jordan Burgess (Drew, Austin, Tanner), Greg and Melissa Seif (Nicholas, Avery, Adelle ), Kelly and Steve Van Der Heide (Sawyer, Smith, and Reese), Matthew and Alicia Seif (Cooper, Briar, Sanderson); siblings Marcia Harkema, Mary and Ron Kamminga, Jane Blacquiere, Kathy and Dave Burgess, Beth and Pete Mulder, Sue and Craig Newhof, Steve Seif, Joe and Alice Seif, and Ken and Cindy Seif; brothers- and sisters-in-law Dwight and Diane Berens, Kurt and Sherri Vander Molen; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents John and Joyce Seif; in-laws Bud and Margien Vander Molen; and brothers-in-law Bob Bonnema, Bob Blacquiere, Clare Harkema, and Michael Vander Molen.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St. SW. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 21, at Friendship Christian Reformed Church, 190 100th St. SE, Byron Center, with visitation prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. Rev. Tim Holwerda and Rev. Calvin Compagner will officiate the service. Interment will be at Dutton Cemetery. In honor of Bill, contributions may be made to Byron Center Christian School or Moline Christian School.
