On December 6, 2021, Judy Evers, age 60, was lifted into the arms of her precious Lord and Savior. She will be missed. Judy is survived by her siblings Dawn (Charles) Shoemaker, Randy Evers; stepmother, Joan Evers; several nieces, nephews, friends, family, and many wonderful cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Evers; father, Thomas Evers; and sister-in-law, Linda Evers.
Judy was an expert on movies and TV shows, especially NCIS, Jeopardy, and Star Trek. She enjoyed reading and anything cat themed. She often babysat for nieces and nephews, and cat and dogsat for family. Judy did many helpful acts of mercy. She loved her church, church activities, and her Bible studies. She did things with her girlfriends, went on mini-vacations with her niece and nephew, and enjoyed girls’ weekends away.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Second Byron Christian Reformed Church, 7588 Byron Center Ave. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315, with visitation from 2-2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Judy will be laid to rest at Winchester Cemetery. In memory of Judy and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Moline Christian Schools.
