He was born in England in 1938 and immigrated to Canada in 1963. He worked at various local woodworking companies until his retirement. The early summers in Canada were spent camping and fishing. He was a sports fan – always interested in any sporting event on TV, but his favourite was F1 motor racing, followed by soccer. His other hobbies included reading and cooking.
He is survived by Sandra, his loving wife of 61 years, his son Steven and granddaughter Hannah. As well as a niece, nephews and cousins in England.
A private family service and cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later date.
If you wish, in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
