Passed away suddenly yet peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in Hamilton, Ontario, at the age of 57. Beloved son of John and Elaine Appleby. Loving father of Amanda Appleby (Tanner Beal), Jonathon Appleby, and step-son Anthony Fich. Husband of Marilyn Appleby and brother of Nick Appleby. Andy will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Andy was a passionate explorer who loved to push limits and chase new adventures. He enjoyed playing golf and, in his later years, found great joy in riding motorcycles. A devoted Maple Leafs fan, he rarely missed a game and he loved watching the game with his kids eating shrimp and sharing stories. Raised on the East Coast of Canada, Andy always carried a dream of returning home. Known as a big dreamer with boundless ambition, he lived life with heart and determination. Above all else, Andy loved his family and friends, and his presence will be profoundly missed.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm at T. Little Funeral Home (223 Main Street, Cambridge). A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
