A devoted widow, Anette carried the memory of her late husband, Ken Sr. (aka The King), daily. She also found joy and comfort in the longtime companionship of her dog, Bailey.
Though life brought challenges, she always held the concerns and wellbeing of others before herself. If she could, she would bear the weight of the world without complaint.
Anette and Ken Sr. loved to host family and friends. Their entertainment included theatre, concerts, and an occasional casino visit, to which she won many battles, but lost the war.
Anette will be remembered for her warm heart, unselfishness, and self-appointed chronicler of the Auliffe and Jensen families. Over the years she dutifully documented and manicured the family trees.
She is survived by her children, Ken Jr. (Rebecca) Auliffe, Korina (Mike) Oliver, her grandchildren Breanna (Desree) Oliver, Lucas Oliver, her brother, Dan (Susan) Jensen, and Lena (Randy) Parkinson.
Anette will be be deeply missed by the extended Auliffe and Jensen families, longtime friends, and neighbours.
A private interment will be followed by a celebration of her life on September 13, 2025, 1pm to 5pm at her residence building, Highlands by the Park, 20 Berkley Drive, Cambridge.
Please note residence parking is limited and those able, are encouraged to utilize street parking.
