Barbara Mary Neary

3 September , 195327 December , 2018

It saddens us to announce that after a hard fought battle with an aggressive cancer, Barbara Neary passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family on December 27, 2018.

She leaves behind her husband William Neary, their daughters Christine (Jeff) and Amanda (Craig) and their grandchildren Josephine and Theodore. She was born in Galt, Ontario on September 3, 1953 to Mary (Caskac) and Andrew Domen. Barb married the love of her life, William, on September 7, 1973 and they remained in Galt where they raised their two daughters.

She was a kind, generous, loving and patient wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed deeply. The family would like to thank friends and family for their care, especially Cons and Keith Gilbert, the staff at the Juravinski Clinic, Dr. Torres, Michelle, Christine and Vince as well as the swift care of the LHIN. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Little Funeral Home (519) 623-1290. As expressions of sympathy, donations to M.S. Society of Canada or the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada can be made in her name. "Right foot to heaven, Mom”

Bill and family,
We are so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Barb. You both made us feel so welcome in our first home. We could not have asked for more helpful and thoughtful neighbors. I always think back to the time I happened to mention to Barb that I liked the tree in your front yard, and then within a week she came over and brought me one for my garden. That thoughtful gesture always warms my heart. You are in our thoughts and hearts.

Dear Christine and the Neary family

I'm so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Barb very well but my time working with Christine, she always had a welcoming smile when she came in. You could feel she had a kind soul just from her warm smile. Her face light up walking into the shop, you knew she was so proud of her daughter. For those left behind, this is such a difficult heart breaking time. Hold onto your family be there for one another and continue Barb traditions and her legacy she left behind. God give you all the strength you need to support one another and get you through the hard times ahead. Rest in peace Barb, dance with the Angel's Goodnight

No matter what she always had the biggest brightest smile on her face. She was a terrific person and amazing family member. She showed love to all who walked through her door. The word has lost an amazing person but gained a beautiful angel. Your memory will live on forever xoxo

Finding the right words at a time like this is almost impossible.
Just know that we love Barb. Our memories live in our hearts rather than in our minds which says a lot about Barb.
Know that we wish we could be there for you right now. If there is anything we can do from here in Newfoundland please let us know.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Frank, Shirley and Frankie.
