Belinda Reid

Belinda became ill recently and battled an aggressive cancer. On December 22, 2019 Belinda peacefuly passed in her sleep surrounded by her family. She has been reunited with her husband Gordon(2014) whom she shared 54 wonderful years.

Belinda will be forever missed by her daughter Lucy Reid (John Brown), her son Arthur (Janette), her grandchildren Nicole (Melvin), Gordon (Heather), Ronny, Alysha (Will Lindberg), Grant, Alicia, Kathleen, and Greg; and her great grandchildren Desmond, Kathleen, Nickolas, Harmony, Lantis, David and soon to arrive Wesley.

Belinda will also be fondly remembered by her sisters Sally (Dougal 2019), Mildred (Gord), Lily, Doris and Myrtle; sister in law Inez Gear (John 2017); her large extended Reid and Gear family in Ontario and Newfoundland; special great aunt Cecilia George and former daughter in law Diane Symons.

To honour Belinda’s wishes Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Belinda will return home to Newfoundland where she will rest with her husband.
