My best childhood memories were spending time with my Aunts, Uncles and cousins. There are so many fond memories at Aunty Betty’s and Uncle Joe’s. I remember when Graham, my cousin put a frog in her purse and Graham asked for some change so that Aunty Betty would go into her purse. Aunty Betty was surprised but took it like a champ. A saying that Aunty Betty stuck in my mind was “you knocked me me over with a feather”. Aunty Betty you were a kind loving person with a great sense of humour. Aunty Betty you were a class act! You will be missed. Love from Sheila xoxo

Betty was always with a smile and a kind word, we missed her when she moved from Westgate Crt. Fantastic lady to talk with and so full of fun and mischief. My thoughts and prayers go to the family on this sad day.

Auntie Betty you were an amazing person! You were so kind and always enjoyed a good laugh. I always looked forward to seeing you and being a part of your life. I have so many fond memories of you. As a child I recall so many awesome times we spent at your house at 2 John Street!! It was the best house. You had a wonderful sense of humour and I remember the time Graham put a frog in your purse and then he got you to go into your purse to get you a Kleenex to have the frog jump out of the purse. You jumped and screamed and I remember you saying, Oh Graham!! You were such a great sport with all the shenanigans Graham put you through over the years! True mother/son love. I also remember how you had an amazing relationship with Hazel! Auntie Doreen is going to miss you immensely. The two of you were partners in crime! Amazing Aunts!
I will miss you but are glad Uncle Joe and Uncle Bill will be there with you. Auntie Betty you will have to keep them in line. Denise will be there to assist you. Denise knows how to handle these boys.
Auntie Betty I love you so much and will miss you. I'm so lucky to have my birthday the same day as you. I will light a special candle on my cake every year in your memory. Love you Auntie Betty.

Can never forget how kind Betty was to us while she was at Howe Travel, back in the day before credit cards and banks being opened weekends. She arranged for Bill to get to Scotland quickly (with money in his pocket) when his father died suddenly. A lovely woman, enjoyed seeing her in church on Sunday BC - before Covid!
