Brian Vincent Houston

Brian was the beloved husband of Dianne, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Christine (John) Hawkrigg, and cherished grandfather of Michael, Kaitlyn (Fern), Jennifer Jane (Jules), Matthew (Erika) and Brian (Danika). Brian will also be dearly missed by his sister-in-law, Sandra; niece Cathy; and nephew Jason (Gina). The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Gina MD, for her constant love, care, and support of Brian.

Predeceased by parents Patrick and Margaret (Connelly) Houston, brothers Bernard and Paul Houston and Son Vincent Houston.

Brian spent 30 years working at Labatt’s, where he was affectionately known by his coworkers and friends as the “Bud Man.” He loved his job and the people he worked with, and he will be dearly missed by his many friends at Labatt’s.

A dedicated and hardworking man, Brian’s greatest dream was to have a farm of his own. He was incredibly happy to spend the last 20 years of his life living and working on his farm. It was where he wanted to be and where he found some of his greatest happiness. Brian took immense pride in his farm and loved the hard work that came with it. It was truly a labour of love and a very important part of who he was.

Above all, Brian loved spending time with his family. His dedication, hard work, humour, and love for those around him will be deeply missed. He will forever remain in the hearts of his family, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be held on Sunday, October 25th at 1:00 p.m. at the family farm, 1697 Cedar Creek Road, Cambridge.
