With profound sadness that the family of Brother Tony Roberts "The Turkey Man" announces his passing in the early morning of February 18, 2015 surrounded with love and in the comfort of his home. Beloved husband of Jeanne, Cherished father of Tony (Yvonne), Lilliane, Cheyenne, Angel, Louise, "the baby" Lorraine (Raymond) and Shane. Adored grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his son, Lionel (1997) and grandson Stephen (2014).
Tony was an active member in his church and community running the turkey drive for over 40 years and providing toys to children all over the region. He leaves behind many to mourn his passing, many who were touched by his caring and generous nature and many who had the honour to know him.
The Roberts family will receive friends at T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street Cambridge, on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 7-9 pm and Friday, February 20, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday February 21, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Mountview Cemetery will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Sick Kids in Tony's memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.
