Carl Hatt was a husband , father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and teammate who will be greatly missed.
Carl was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia December 16, 1934 to Hattie and Welton Hatt (predeceased)
Carl was married to Beverley for 52 years (predeceased 2016) and amazing father to Mark (predeceased 2015) and daughter in law Jen (predeceased 2016).
Loving and supportive father to Michelle (Doug Sulkowski) and incredibly proud and devoted papa to Megan, Ryan, Ben and Alex. Brother to Harley Hatt (Reta), Ernie Hatt (Jo-Anne) and Marilyn Sweeney
(Raymond) and brother in law to Barry and Dorothy Mitchell and Dianne and Harold Moore.
Carl was an avid athlete in his day who excelled in many sports but most of all hockey. Carl played many years of hockey including Woodstock Warriors ( 1954-55) who he was Bobby Hull’s right winger, Strathroy Rockets ( 1955-1957), European Hockey League ( 1957- 1958) St Thomas Royals ( 1958-1960) Galt Hornets ( 1963-1969)
Carl was a humble man whose biggest legacy was his family. He always put his family first . Carl worked for Budd Automotive for 33 years and made many life long friends.

As sports was a big part of Carl’s life in lieu of flowers donations to Kids Can Play – Cambridge, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
