Peacefully passed away after a brief illness on Friday, September 3, 2010 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Joyce Ferris Buell of 42 years. Loving dad of Scott David Buell. Survived by his sister Annette, brother-in-law Tommy Gibson (Mae) and by his many nieces and nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Milburn and Ella May Buell. David was a successful businessman who owned and operated Mil’s Motors Ltd. prior to his retirement in 1988. He was an active member of the Conservative Party of Canada. The family would like to express their appreciation to the wonderful staff on the 3rd floor (Oncology) and Medical Day Care of Cambridge Memorial Hospital. The Buell family will receive their friends at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.. Funeral Service will follow from the Chapel of Coutts Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m.. Private interment will be held at Parklawn Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Coutts Cottage. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Medical Day Care of Cambridge Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
