David went to KCI high-school, and was a passionate member of the football team. He loved all sports and could often be found at a local baseball diamond watching a game or cheering on a local sports team.
Dave, fondly known around Cambridge as Shoey, was employed at Dana Long Manufacturing for 30 years. He loved to spend time at the Polish Club in Galt playing pool with the gang. He was an avid reader, a nature lover and was always looking forward to the next road trip.
Shoey, also known as Papa Shoey, was an amazing father and grandfather to his son Alan and daughter Loannda, grandsons Matt and Conner, and granddaughter Meagan. They were the light of his life. He's left behind many stories, funny jokes, and a long list of memories for them to cherish.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life has been had by close family members, no formal service will follow.
The family would like to thank the many wonderful staff at Hilltop Manor for their loving care and attention with Shoey during his final years.
