Passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, at St. Andrews Terrace-Cedarwood, at the age of 75.
Doug was a lifelong resident of (Galt) Cambridge working in the automotive and metal recycling business.
He is survived by his children Douglas (Elizabeth), Lori, and Michael (Susan), seven grandchildren and three stepchildren. Also survived by his sister Mary Ann. Predeceased by his parents Wendell and Mary Nieson.
Cremation has taken place. Interment to be held at Mount View Cemetery at a later date.
