Born on June 9, 1936 in São Miguel, Açores, Portugal, Edmundo later made Canada his home, where he built a life centered on hard work, family, and generosity. He dedicated 29 years of service to Hostess Foods, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.
Edmundo was predeceased by his beloved wife, Adriana, his son, Carlos, and his sister, Lidia Almeida. He will be remembered as a kind and caring man who loved helping others and cherished spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrew’s Street, Cambridge on Saturday, February 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
