Passed away peacefully at Stirling Heights Long Term Care, Cambridge on Monday March 31, 2014 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Anthony Maley. Loving mother of Christine Maley and her husband Edwin Hoffman of Mississauga. Also survived by her granddaughter Aneisa. Predeceased by her parents John and Agnes Doherty and her sister Myra Frew. Ellen was born in Scotland on July 16, 1933, and has lived in Cambridge since 1970. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge on Thursday April 3, 2014, from 7-9 P. M. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gregory’s R. C. Church , 10 St. Gregory’s Dr. Cambridge on Friday April 4, 2014 at 11 A. M. Interment Parklawn Cemetery. Parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 8 P. M.
