Passed away peacefully at St. Andrew's Terrace on Thursday, June 13, 2013, in his 93rd year. Beloved father of Janet, Nancy, Mary (John), Kathy (Lloyd), Susan (Martin), Charlotte (Dave). Loving grandfather of Michelle, Kim, Jeff, Marcus, Melinda, Ericka, Kirsten, Jacob, Kelsey and Eric, and 19 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Marg, Jean (Allan) and Grace. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Irene Newton, his loving wife Bernice, his brother Robert, and his sister Irene. Frank was born in Galt on November 5, 1920, and was a WWII Vet, and active in the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 121, Cambridge Navy Club and Society of Manufacturing Engineers. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrew's St., Cambridge on Thursday, June 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment Mt. View Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the War Amps or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
