Loving husband of Doreen (nee Rogers) Loughlean. Father of David (Pamela) Loughlean and Wendy (David) Cushnie. Loving Papa to Ryan Cushnie and Lindsay Cushnie. Brother-in-law of Irene Loughlean, Mary (Floyd) DeAdder, Howard Rogers, Russell Rogers, Frank (Jessie) Ells, Mary McDonald and Isabelle Steele. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews and their families and always remembered by his many friends. Predeceased by his parents Herbert (Frank) and Irene (nee Smith) Loughlean, brothers Theodore (Jessie) Loughlean, Stanley Loughlean and Clifford Loughlean, brothers-in-law Douglas Rogers, Charles McDonald and Truman Steele, sisters-in-law Margaret Ann (Earl) Barkhouse, Doris Rogers and Lorraine Rogers.
To honor Gerry’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, Ontario N1S 1M8 (519)621-1650. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Lisaard House would be greatly appreciated.
