He is dearly missed by his wife Clarice Ellen Shaw, his niece Lynne, his great niece Sarah (Adam), his stepson Wayne Benjamin Shaw, his stepdaughter Wendy Doolings, and his friend Linda McLean.
Gerald dedicated many years of his life to Sheldons Engineering, where his hard work, kindness, and considerate nature made a lasting impact on colleagues and friends alike. Known for his warm heart and generous spirit, he always took the time to lend a hand or share a kind word.
In his well-earned retirement, Gerald found joy in many hobbies, mostly building boats and crafting jewellery-each piece a testament to his skill, patience, and love. His wife will forever cherish the treasures he made, as will all those fortunate enough to own one of his handcrafted creations.
Gerald’s legacy of kindness, craftsmanship, and dedication will live on the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A private family gathering has taken place. Interment was held at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
