Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday May 18th, 2012 at the age of 79. Born in Cupids Newfoundland. Predeceased by husband Herbert Major (1985). Dear mother of Alan of Paris and Graham of Cambridge. Cherished grandma to Jess and Ryan Major. Gladys will be missed by nieces and nephews, Lily May Burden (Webber), Lloyd Webber, Ruby Parsons (Webber), Charlene Hodgson, Lewis Boyd, Aubrey Boyd, Carol Snow, Donna Gillard (Marshall), Lyle Marshall, Robert Marshall and Georgina Coveyduck (Marshall). Predeceased by sisters Elsie Webber, Annie May Hodgson, Doris Butler, Alma Boyd, and Gretchen Marshall. Gladys was an employee of Frito Lay Hostess for 30 years. Family and friends will be received on Thursday May 24th for visitation at T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE 223 Main Street Cambridge (519 623 1290) from 7-9pm. Funeral Service to take place the following day in the funeral home chapel at 1pm. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery.
