Beloved husband of Patricia for 55 wonderful years. Loving father of Andrew Snow and Christopher Snow. Dear brother of Geoffrey (Kay) Snow, Ann Clarke. Both of the UK and Jennifer Carruthers (Keith), of Spain. Graham will be lovingly remembered by his extended family, many dear friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Minnie Snow, and by his sister, Jill Balldham.
Born in England, Graham never lost his love for his homeland and proudly carried his British roots throughout his life. After moving to Canada, he embraced every opportunity life had to offer. A true people person, Graham could strike up a conversation with anyone and had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome. He cared deeply for his family and treasured every moment spent with them.
In his younger years, Graham enjoyed playing the guitar and worked as a DJ in the evenings, sharing his love of music with others. He had a lifelong passion for sports, trains, and all things British, and remained a devoted supporter of Burnley FC, and never missed an episode of Coronation Street. Gifted with a creative and innovative mind, Graham was always happiest when fixing something, tackling a new project, or lending a helping hand. He took great pride in tending to his garden, enjoyed many evenings with friends playing cards, and never turned down a nice cold beer shared in good company. Easy-going and kind, he had a way of making lasting friendships wherever he went.
Travel brought Graham great joy. He cherished family holidays at cottages in Northern Ontario, creating memories that will be treasured forever. During retirement, he fulfilled a long-awaited trip to Thunder Bay with his brother-in-law, an adventure he had looked forward to. One dream that remained close to his heart was to visit Alberta and experience the majesty of the Rocky Mountains. Although he was never able to make that journey, those who loved him know his adventurous spirit and appreciation for beautiful places will always be remembered.
In keeping with Graham's wishes, a private family gathering will be held, followed by cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in the United Kingdom.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Graham's memory to the Diabetes Canada, the Lung Association, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
