I am sorry to hear of the passing of Helen/Mrs. Kerr. She was a good friend to my mother Barbara Weston. When we were growing up in our Peel Village neighbourhood, Mrs Kerr’s patat frites were the stuff of legend.
My thoughts are with you Louise, Dianne & Peter and your families.

My condolances go out out to all of us who have had our lives touched by Helen Kerr. She was a very special lady and our memories of her will always be treasured. I have so many fond memories of growing up in Peel Village. Mrs. Kerr was always a force to be reckoned with. A second mother always on the watch to keep us safe and to make sure we were behaving. Homemade French fries on Friday was a treasured event to be invited to and Mrs. Kerr's homemade fudge was well known. Rest in peace from a life well lived.

We will certainly miss the backyard visits with the Garden Club, where Helene treated us to lemonade and sweets. She also brought jokes and games to the pot luck lunch at my house.
She was always happy to see us and share an amusing story.
She was no slouch at the bridge table either. Always cheerful and often successful.
Helene was a true lady and we shall all miss her.
Sincere sympathy to All of the Family.

Helene was a long time member of St. James the Apostle Church, Brampton where I was the priest from 1973-2008. I* remember her children well. Helene was a member of the Altar Guild and Flower arranger for the altar. Her accent was loved by all as was her generosity to Georgina. She was a lady of wonderful and practical faith. I've missed her since she moved to Camebridge. Her friends send their love and condolences to her family. Rest in peace. Lynda and Bryon Nash

I am very sorry to hear Helene has passed. I have many fond memories of Kerr family gatherings in my youth when Scott and I would come out to Brampton with our parents and have fun playing with all the cousins at Helene’s home. Unfortunately I am away for the funeral and can’t be there on Thursday. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.

I have many fond memories growing up across the street from the Kerr Family. Mrs. Kerr was very much a mother to my brothers and I and she looked after us when my parents travelled. I remember many fabulous dinners, lots of laughs and all of the kids from both families playing together. I remember Mrs. Kerr letting me make a chocolate cake in her kitchen. Over fifty years later we still laugh about that experiment. Rest In Peace, you will always be dear in our hearts.
