Hendrika came to Canada from Holland in 1952, and was an independent and strong-willed person. As an avid fan of crafts, she loved to knit and crochet. Hendrika will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children Katherine, Rick, James (Susan and Brandy II), and Ron, and her grandchildren Ryan and Devon. Hendrika was predeceased by her husband Hendrick in 1992 and her parents in Holland. Cremation has taken place and there will not be a service at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Breast Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
