Passed away at his home in Cambridge on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the age of 64. Predeceased by his father John Peter “Jack” (2001) and his son Greg (2012). Survived by his mother, Dorothy Marion and his caring son Scott. He was the eldest brother of Gord (Betty Ann), Mary Lyon (Ducan) and Rob (Sherry) and is also survived by nieces and nephews. Jim graduated from Wilfred Laurier. He enjoyed teaching in Sault Ste. Marie and a successful career as a Certified Financial Planner. Jim was active in hockey and tennis throughout his life. In retirement Jim spent summers at his cottage with his labs and honing his skills in photography. He found solace kayaking on the waters of Big Basswood. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Coutts Funeral Home.
