John and I were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Jen.  Her warm smile, uplifting spirit and genuine friendliness left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of working with her.

Jen always had time for everyone and made you feel special when you were with her. She had a way of connecting with you professionally and personally that was unique and will be missed by me and many others.

Jen celebrated the wins of others, championed them, was thoughtful, always had a smile on her face, and her door was open to all. Often, I would walk by her office or pop-in with a “quick question” only to be there for much longer than planned because we got chatting about a project that turned into a chat about life, weekend plans, or just a catch-up session on everything.

I was fortunate to have Jen come into my life during my teaching career at Glenview. I taught her and also coached her on the basketball team during her years at Glenview. In the course of a teacher's life we sometimes have special people that cross our path. Jen was one of the special ones. What made her this way was her unwavering and unconditional kindness and caring to anyone she met. Jen had the ability to make others feel worthwhile. Her positivity and commitment to be a team player was appreciated by all those around her. I will remember her always. They say that a teacher can impact a student's life but in some cases a student can have the same impact on the teacher. Jen, you always made any day better for me!! Jo and I learned of Jenn’s passing this afternoon.  The world is definitely a lesser place today with her absence .Jenn was one of the nicest, kindest, most thoughtful people I have ever met. While we didn’t see each other often, when we did it was always a fun catch up on our two families and always with a laugh and smile from Jenn. I had the privilege of working with Jenn at Hub International.  We had so much fun together, you could hear our laughter throughout the entire office.   Jenn made it fun and inspired many.  From her notebook in hand at all times, to dim lighting in her office with an open door and warm hello.  I always loved to drop in and chat for a giggle.   
 Hub Christmas party 2001 Jenn captured the party with her spectacular silver sparkling pants, we danced until our feet were numb.  A wonderful memory.      I’m so sorry and sincere condolences to Jenn’s family, our dear friend Tim Currie and Peri her beautiful daughter.
