Passed away peacefully at Fairview Mennonite Home, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia, on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the age of 77. Loving father of Cherri Schouten (Ron), Brad Park (Rebecca), and Paul Park (Carley). Proud grandfather of Ryan, Sydney, Brayden, Ethan, Emma and Tessa. Lovingly remembered by brother Greig Park and sister Mary Snyder (Larry). John lived in Galt all his life, proudly worked at Canada Tool for more than 40 years and was a lifelong member of the Preston Scout House Band. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will take place at the T. Little Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519-623-1290) on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 6 – 8 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated by his family.
