OBITUARY

Kevin Dale Lovely

7 December, 196418 April, 2021

With heavy hearts we announce Kevin’s passing on April 18, 2021 at the age of 56.

Beloved son to Jean Lovely (nee Watson) and adoring brother to Karen (Todd) Gennings and Shelly (Kevin) DeSouza. Predeceased and together again with his father Dale Lovely (1991). Kevin will be sadly missed and forever remembered with a smile by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew and friends.

Anyone that knew Kevin could tell you what a lovable, happy and friendly man he really was. He always had a smile and a big “hi!” for everyone. It didn’t take very much to make Kevin happy - movies (especially the three stooges), country music, singing and playing his guitar were what he loved most. Kevin was a dedicated employee of Arc Industries for more than 30 years.

Cousin Kevy always brought a smile to everyone he met! A warm, gentle, caring and beautiful soul. I shared his love for John Cena, Inspector Clouseau, the nyuk nyuk nyuks of the 3 Stooges. We also enjoyed pizza & beer, Stan's Fries and ice cream. Kevy could also be a pool shark when he wanted to be!

I'll see you down the road Cousin Kevin.

Aunt Jeannie, Karen, Shelly and all who knew him. I offer my heartfelt condolences. We are all going to miss his smile!

Kevin was a nice person to be with when I see him at lunchtime at work. I would ask him if he wanted to sit down with myself and sometimes when we were working he would want to sit down beside me because I was his best friend.

Kevin Lovely pulled pranks, and he was a Ladies' man. I remember when I was at school he would go back and tease everyone at school. He was really funny and I enjoyed seeing him at Franklin Centre. Rest in Peace. And to the family, I'm sorry for your loss. I know what it's like to lose someone you love.

Dear Jean,
I'm so very sorry to learn of Kevin's passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

Both myself and my son enjoyed our brief conversations with Kevin. (Former resident of Elgin St. #5). When I had the pleasure of meeting him in the parking lot before work, it started my day off on the right note! He was so happy, pleasant, cheerful, and friendly. The world seemed like a much better place after speaking with him.
