It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Margaret, at home, on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the age of 89.

She is reunited with her dearly beloved husband of 58 years, Johannes “John” (2012). Loving mother of Ingrid, Joachim (Kathryn), Evelyn and Christopher (Adele). Loving Oma to Brandon, Jordan, Leigh-Ana, Taylor, Luke, Ethan and Siena. Proud Great-Oma to McKayla. Much loved sister of Lilly (late John). Predeceased by her brother Otto Gandor (Friedl). She will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and caregivers.

Those who knew Margaret will remember her for her golden heart to family, friends and those she met along life’s journey. She had an open door for everyone, a perpetual smile, a deep, delightful, infectious chuckle, a jovial disposition and a wicked sense of humour.

The family wishes to thank the many staff and volunteers at the Community Alzheimer Program at Sunnyside Home, the doctors, nurses, and nurse practitioner from CarePartners, the Waterloo Region LHIN, various occupational therapists from St. Elizabeth Health Care, the volunteers from Community Connections and the wonderful P.S.W.’s from the various service providers that came to the home over the last 10 years who so compassionately assisted with her care. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519-623-1290) on Thursday, November 29th from 5 – 8 p.m. The Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 66 Main Street, Brampton on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 1 p.m. Inurnment will follow at the Brampton Cemetery.
