Giuseppina “Peppina” loved to love people. Her family and close friends have been privileged to experience her profound devotion through the years. Peppina’s hands were rarely still, whether she was baking bread, making lasagna or carefully crafting her famous cookies. To put it simply, Peppina fed us, but also nourished our souls with her care, kindness, and fierce love.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 66 years, Gino Martino, her daughter Francesca (Ron), her son Eugenio “Jim”, her daughter Rosaria “Rosie”(Cliff), her daughter Sandra (Ian), her grandchildren Tanya, Tina (Domenico), Aaron, Zachary, Dean, Audrey, her great grandchildren Olivia, Angelica, Vivian, Francesca, Adriano, and Sofia. Peppina will also be fondly remembered by Paul. She will be sadly missed by her sister Elena, her sisters-in-law Giustina, Carmela (Pasquale), Ida, Assunta and Silvana, her brothers-in-law Mario and Antonio, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Our family wishes to thank our devoted caregivers who have looked after Peppina
“Bella” so lovingly. We also wish to thank the staff and volunteers at Innisfree Hospice for their tender care and compassion.
