Passed away peacefully at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, in her 95th year. Dear mother of Ernest Jr. and his wife Doris of St. Agatha, Uwe and Peter both of Kitchener, and Martin of Cambridge. Also survived by her brother Paul Dustert, and sisters Haeta and Hattie all of Germany, and six grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. Predeceased, by her parents, husband Ernest (1999), and her daughter Marie (1943). Maria was born in Germany, on September 15, 1917 and was a former resident of Branchton. She was a founding member of the German Continental Club of Cambridge. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service to celebrate Maria's life will be held at Fairview Mennonite Home Auditorium, 515 Langs Drive, Cambridge on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 7 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to World Wild Life Fund would be appreciated by the family.
