Born in Scotland, Marian immigrated to Canada in 1966, where she built a life rooted in love, dedication, and community. She was the devoted and loving wife of David, with whom she shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. She was a cherished mother to her children, David and Janice, and a proud and loving grandmother to Brittany (Steve), who brought her immense joy.
Marian was well known in the community for her dedication and service. She served faithfully as a school crossing guard for 23 years, always greeting children and parents with a warm smile and a watchful eye. She was a devoted member of the United Kingdom Club of Cambridge and generously volunteered her time for 25 years with the Special Needs Bowling League, where her kindness and commitment made a lasting impact on many lives.
Marian will be remembered for her gentle nature, strong sense of responsibility, and the care she showed to everyone around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Marian’s life will be held at a later date.
