Marion Turner

Devoted mother and friend to Jennifer Turner-Walsh (Mike Walsh), John (Heather) Turner and David Turner. Loving Nanan to Catherine (David) Rush, John (Shelley) Turner, Jessica Turner, Christianna Turner, Michelle (David) Sturtevant, Christine Walsh, Jacklyn Fischer and Great-Nanan to Tyler and Kennedy Rush. Predeceased by her sisters Bessie and Joyce.

Marion will be forever remembered for being a true class act. Born in Sheffield, England on February 23, 1928 she was the epitome of a proper English lady; Marion was always the best dressed with her hair and lipstick done just so. Her wonderful sense of humour, quick wit and feisty attitude will be missed by all who knew her.

In following Marion’s wishes- cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2014 at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) at 2pm with visitation taking place one hour prior.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society in Marion’s memory.
