11 March, 193829 April, 2021

It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Mary Warren (née Stoyles) of Cambridge, Ontario announce her peaceful passing on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the age of 83 years in her home at Hilltop Manor.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children: Edward (Donna), Gordon (Cathy), Colin (Hilda) and Lisa (John) Beveridge; grand-children: Damien, Brenden, Amberly, Laura, Christopher, Derek, Sarah, Heather, Amy, Andrew (Meagan), Brandon, Alison and Rachel; Great grand-children: Mason, Luna, Cassidy, Zack, Lucas, Austin, Grayson, Tyler, Grace, Gavin and Georgia; brother Peter (late Mary) Stoyles, step-sister Judy (late Lello) Sanchoni and sister-in-law Bridget Stoyles; and her beloved dog Teddy. Mary will also be remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband: Gordon; parents: Michael and Florence Stoyles; siblings Elizabeth (Gabe) Maddigan and George Stoyles; and great grand-children: Dillon and Aiden.

Mary was born March 11, 1938 in Sault Saint Marie, Ontario. She moved to Bell Island, Newfoundland as a young child where she grew up and married her husband Gordon in 1957. They moved to Cambridge, Ontario in 1961 where they raised their four children. Mary was a long time employee of Dana-Long Manufacturing, retiring in 2003. After retiring, Mary became a greeter at the Walmart on Pinebush Rd., where she enjoyed meeting and interacting with people.

A loving mother and nana, Mary had a heart of gold. She cared deeply for everyone who crossed her path, not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always there to offer someone a helping hand, whether they were family or a complete stranger. Mary was also known for her love of animals, taking in many strays over the years and making them part of her family.

No service or visitation will be held due to Covid-19. Cremation has taken place and as a proud Newfoundlander, Mary will return to her beloved Bell Island, Newfoundland. Messages of condolences to the family may be made at www.tlittlefuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Cambridge and District Humane Society online at www.cambridgehumanesociety.org or via mail: 1650 Dunbar Rd. Cambridge, Ontario N1R 8J5.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Hilltop Manor Cambridge, Ontario for their care and compassion during her time with them.

I worked with Mary at Longs for a number of years. Often while entering Walmart I would run into Mary and her smiling, bubbly greeting. Our meetings were never short. How is the family? How are things Tom? The family was blessed with a good mother and a friend to many. Lucy and I send our condolences to the Warren family. R.I.P. Mary, until we meet again. Tom, Lucy and Jenny Vann.
