ROBINSON, Melvin; Lost his battle to cancer and passed away peacefully at Grand River Freeport Hospital on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 84 years old. Predeceased by wife Dorothy Robinson (May 2000) and son Gordon Robinson (November 2007). He will be sadly missed by daughters Cindy (Jim) Metlin, Janet (Denis) Pilon, son Chris (Marla) Robinson, daughter-in-law Tressa Robinson and beloved pet Chiva. Proud poppy to eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Melvin will be missed by his extended family and friends. At Melvin’s request, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Freeport Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society. Special thank you to all the staff at Freeport Hospital.
