Olindina Pereira Cidade

Born on July 27, 1944, Olindina was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for those closest to her.

Olindina is together once again with her beloved husband, Jose Maria da Silva, and her son-in-law, Jose Alberto Ferreira.

She leaves behind her loving children, Ana Paula, Ceu (Leo), Patricia (Dennis), and John. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Joel, Jason (Nivea), Eric, Vanessa (Carlos), Nevaeh, and Jonah, and by her cherished great-grandchildren Madison, Jayda, Luca, Mariana, Roman, and Sebastian.

Olindina's love, wisdom, and quiet strength touched the lives of all who knew her. She found happiness in the company of her family, and the memories she created will be treasured for generations to come.

The family appreciates the kindness shown by those who offered comfort and support during Olindina's final days.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Visitation will be held at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St Andrews Street, Cambridge on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm from the funeral home chapel. Olindina will be laid to rest at New Hope Cemetery, Cambridge.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Olindina's memory.
